Weekly Update #9 - Not Quite A Dry January

This will be another short update this week as there’s very little of interest to share by way of news. Although, I am hoping over the coming weeks I can share photos keeping tabs of where we are with the building work.

Over the past week we’ve been reboarding walls, sanding things down and doing other prep work - nothing too exciting. As well as this we’ve been taking measurements and planning for the tongue and groove panelling we’ll have around the bar floor area.

Whilst the weather dried up a bit (for patches) we’ve begun prepping the front of the pub for its new paint job and for the sign to go up. I really hope we can get this done soon, as it’d be great to have the lettering in place and get passersby talking and excited. Although as I’m typing this it’s beginning to drizzle again outside. It’s most definitely not been a dry January in any sense…

That’s really it for this week. Until the next!
