Weekly Update #20 + Beer + Cider for This Week ๐Ÿบ

The Weekly Updates are finally back! Although we've already been posting pretty much weekly with our beer list over the last few weeks, we've got enough things going on now to make it worthwhile posting proper updates.

First off, we're now a couple of weeks into our opening and things are going really well. It's been a shame that we were never able to have a proper launch party, I'm thinking we'll just have to really go all out next year when things are safer and have a few anniversary celebrations.

Drinks are flying out with both sit-ins and take outs and we've got loads more exciting beverages on the way from the likes of Gravity Well, Deya, Pressure Drop and Gipsy Hill. Also, one thing worth mentioning is that we do indeed have wine and prosecco available by the glass for drinking in.

On the subject of drinks, we're going to be winding down our webstore over the next week or so as we move our focus towards the pub itself. Rest assured all drinks, including those on tap, will remain available to take away.

Next up, a massive thank you to Renata Castro for popping by and taking some photos as part of her local high street photo project to raise money for Haven House.

Finally, a heads up that we're closed Sunday 9th August for a family celebration.

On Tap from Weds 5th August

ELB - FOUNDATION BITTER (4%)

One of ELB's original brews, Foundation Bitter is an amber best bitter, with a good balance of maltiness and a refreshingly crisp bitter finish. Flavoured with a blend of English and New Zealand hops.

TINY REBEL - FIVE DOLLAR SHAKE IPA (4.5%)

This has everything that you want from a Milkshake IPA. Bucket loads of Cita hops, creaminess and 100% unfiltered.

REDEMPTION - BIG CHIEF IPA (5.5%)

Big hoppy IPA style beer, packed full of Kiwi hops with hints of honey and nectar and plenty of tropical citrus and floral notes.

SILLY MOO - COWFOLD MEDIUM CIDER (5%)

Silly Moo is an unusually civilised farmhouse cider, made on Trenchmore farm by Rachel and Andrew. It is a marriage of East coast and West Country cider styles as it blends fully fermented cider with more apple juice to balance.

SEACIDER - BLUEBERRY CIDER (4%)

Made with the pure juice of fresh blueberries and blended with SeaCider Medium, this cider is refreshing and packed with flavour.

ROSS ON WYE - 2018 MICHELIN + DABINETT CIDER (6.8%)

A beautiful Dry Cider from Ross On Wye.

With aromas of orchards yet a light and deceptive body thatโ€™s perfectly balanced and goes down all too easily. A fine cider drinkers cider!
