Update #28 - Light at the End of the Tunnel

Hi all,

It's the 2nd December and the second National Lockdown restrictions have been lifted. We've also awoken this morning to some exciting news with regards to a vaccine approval by MHRA. That little glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel grows even brighter, we've just got to get through the next few months.

London is now placed under Tier 2 restrictions, which are quite a bit more restrictive than the previous Tier 2 before the lockdown. As it stands wet led pubs, which the vast majority of micropubs are, aren't able to open for drinking on premises unless they are able to offer a 'substantial meal'.

We've been going over all the information over the past few weeks and have come to the conclusion that unfortunately it is unviable for us to try and offer food at this moment in time. It's therefore likely we won't be opening for drinking on premises until London enters Tier 1 or changes are made to the regulations.

Offering awesome food is something we've wanted to do since before we opened, but we've got to walk before we can run and getting setup for such a thing will take time. 

For the time being we'll be continuing with our takeaway and delivery options, this includes all our draught beer, cask ale and ciders as well as all our cans and bottles. Please check our opening hours at the bottom of this email.

Whilst on the subject of beer, we've got a small range of some really exciting and very limited American craft beer cans which will be available to purchase in a couple of days. Keep an eye out for those!

Now we're in December, we're preparing ourselves for Christmas. We plan to have some curated beer bags and gift cards available very soon - perfect presents for your beer-loving friends and family.
