Update #27 - DRAUGHT BEER: LEVELING UP!

Whilst the concept of days don’t seem to have any meaning anymore I still wish you all a happy Monday! Fingers crossed the end of lockdown is in sight and we can welcome you back to the bar very soon.

Lets get straight to it - We’re excited to announce that from this week we now offer draught beer on tap. This was something that’s been part of our timeline since I first put the business plan together and like everything else in the world had to be pushed back. Finally having draught available means we can offer even more great craft beer, including rarer, more unusual drinks as well as showcase breweries that we love but don’t offer cask. Rest assured though, real ale still remains our foundation; as any good micropub should.

Of course, with things the way they currently are, these will available as takeaway only at first - 2 and 4 pint containers. When we open back up, you’ll also see that we’ll sometimes be offering our draught beer in two-thirds and even half pints as default for stronger, more expensive beer. To accomodate this, we’ve got in some beautiful Rastal Teku glasses, which are personally my favourite beer glass.

We’re kicking things off with two delicious draught beers along with our cask ale and ciders

Brew By Numbers - 42|DDH Pale - Tenth Edition (5.5%)

Taking inspiration from the Japanese word 'Kodawari', which means the relentless pursuit of perfection, BBNO embarked on a journey to conceptualise, brew and refine the perfect DDH Pale Ale. Still on this journey, this series seeks to explore the best features of a modern pale ale – vibrant hops, soft malts and a juicy, full-bodied drinking experience.

Full Circle Brew Co - Repeater - Session IPA (4.2%)

Who fancies a sesh? Tropical hops, soft and smooth. Well hopped can of joy. Light and clean but it's dangerously drinkable. A midweek marvel.

On cask this week is the Wild Beer Bibble, a classic Pale Ale which has a great body for only 4.2%.
