New Cask Beer In! Plus Father's Day News

First off, it was great to finally start meeting those who stopped by and collected their beer. It’s good to put faces to names. Secondly, it looks like the take out cartons went down a storm - we barely had enough cask ale left by the end.

This Week’s Real Ale List

Which brings us on to this week’s beer list, with two beautiful new ales available from local breweries. Ready to order for delivery Friday or Click & Collect at the pub!

Five Points Brewing Co. - Best Bitter (4.1%)

Easy-drinking classic Best Bitter. Perfect for Father’s Day ;)

Five Points Best is a single-hopped Best Bitter, brewed with Fuggles hops from Hukins Hops. Refreshing and smooth, Best has notes of caramel and biscuit, and a lovely grassy, herbal freshness.

Five Points Best celebrates both the history of British brewing and the modern craft beer movement. It showcases the Five Points take on beer: influenced by the past but brewed very much for the present. Because, why should modern beer always mean new beer styles?

ELB - Cowcatcher American Pale Ale (4.9%)

American Pale Ale.

Brewed a few miles away down Lea Bridge Road by our local beer legends ELB.

Cowcatcher, named after the grille at the front of the old US steam trains, is an American Pale Ale, generously hopped with Amarillo, Chinook, Simcoe and Citra. Refreshing and a great summer beer.
